ChandiPur Beach Odisha
This Sea Is Disappearing Sea ........Worth to Watch
A 3 km wide beach. Its a gradual slope so you can walk into the beach upto 3 km when it is low tide. Start early so that you have enough time for walking to and fro the beach i.e 6 km walk and enjoy the sea.
Its an amazing experience to see the marvel of nature. The sea recedes for about 3 km during low tide. It is recommended that visitors may stay one night at the Pathnivas hotel and observe the entire magic of sea coming in and receding.
Chandipur (Odia: ଚାନ୍ଦିପୁର), also known as Chandipur-on-sea (Odia: ଚାନ୍ଦିପୁର ବନ୍ଦର), is a small sea resort in Baleswar District, Odisha, India. The resort is on the Bay of Bengal and is approximately 16 kilometers from the Baleswar Railway Station. The beach is unique in that the water recedes up to 5 kilometers during the ebb tide. Nov-Mar is the suitable time for travelling here.Chandipur-on-sea is also the location of the Ministry of Defence's Integrated Test Range (ITR), at Abdul Kalam Island, formerly Wheeler Island.
